Andrew Pledge is an award-winning artist whose work is driven by a fascination with the often overlooked and under appreciated birds of our threatened planet. From the iridescent shimmer hidden within a seemingly black feather to the astonishing palette of colours woven into the wrinkled skin of a vulture’s neck, his work invites viewers to look closer. Andrew won the DSWF Wildlife Artist of the year 2020 and has been shortlisted for the same award in 2021, ‘22, ‘24 and ‘25 where he also won the ‘online painters’ award.
